Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise the Truck Shop department in coordination with the Live Haul Manager to ensure work orders are completed timely and efficiently
  • •Manage employees and equipment, assign and inspect work orders, and ensure fair and consistent performance management
  • •Ensure all vehicles and equipment are in good and safe working condition and that inspections are completed in compliance with DOT regulations
  • •Use D7i to order and maintain parts inventory and to track equipment units (trucks, trailers, loaders)
  • •Prepare trucks for operation, complete paperwork/reporting, and monitor mechanics and shop work in D7i input

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in truck shop operations
  • •Demonstrated vehicle maintenance and decision-making skills
  • •Ability to use D7i efficiently and read/respond to emails
  • •CDL license and acceptable driving record
  • •Ability to work 12-hour shifts or more and be on call 24/7
