Job Summary

Coordinate BIM and drafting activities for projects by liaising with a Workshare Manager on technical and personnel issues. Allocate drafting resources, maintain technical standards, keep project information current, and ensure accurate drawings and registration systems meet specifications and WSP QA procedures. Supervise drawing issues and work packages, prepare weekly status reports, and train staff on CAD/BIM tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Report and liaise with the Workshare Manager on technical and personnel issues.
•Allocate drafting resources and maintain technical standards while keeping project information up to date.
•Ensure accurate drawings and registration systems are produced to specifications and applicable standards, following WSP standards and QA procedures.
•Supervise drawing issues, prioritize work packages, and coordinate with the document controller so work packages are sent on time to correct contacts.
•Train other staff in technical aspects and ensure staff is proficient in CAD/BIM software, and provide feedback to improve departmental standards and guidelines.

Key Requirements

•A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related course.
•Knowledgeable in Revit Structures and AutoCAD.
•Skills in Dynamo and coding (a plus).
•Typically 12+ years of relevant experience in technical discipline work.
•Experience with structural modelling and detailing of reinforced concrete and steel structures, including BIM360/BIM360 docs/ProjectWise experience.
