Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support for utility design projects, including treatment plants, pump/booster stations, water and collection line design, rehabilitation, master planning, and construction administration.
  • •Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
  • •Work under supervision of senior project managers or senior team members, while also performing work with little supervision.
  • •Record and interpret data, conduct analyses, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • •Perform data gathering site visits, field measurements, mapping, construction observations, and quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field plus 4 years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •2+ years of experience planning, modeling, and/or designing water, wastewater, and stormwater utility projects.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain PE licensure within one year of employment.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License and must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review as a condition of employment.
  • •Progressive experience with water/wastewater utility planning, modeling, condition assessment, and design.
