Job Summary

Strategic, senior sales role responsible for growing AspenTech’s software and consulting services in West Sub-Saharan Africa (French-speaking) from a remote Saudi Arabia base. Develop and manage key accounts, articulate business value, lead cross-functional solution sales, and drive multi-year, multi-million dollar campaigns while coordinating with support, services, and management teams to meet quota and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and manage accounts and relationships at all levels of the customer organization.
•Articulate solution business value to customers and lead solution development with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
•Understand customer priorities, discuss trends, and integrate industry and solution knowledge.
•Administer strategic account plans, opportunity management, and pipeline development within CRM.
•Respond to RFPs, prepare bids, negotiate, and close sales; provide forecast updates to leadership.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 10 years software sales experience or Industry experience in a consultative selling role through strategic sales thinker in West Sub Sahara countries French speaking language.
•Proven track record in solution sales with multi-year achievement against personal quota.
•Ability to prospect new business relationships within existing accounts.
•Proficient at establishing and cultivating C-level consultative relationships.
•Travel is expected 70% of the time; strong English and French proficiency mandatory.
