Job Summary

Sell and merchandise Smithfield Foods products in local stores by driving a box truck and delivering inventory to assigned locations. Quote prices and credit terms, prepare sales invoices, rotate products, remove outdated/defective items, and handle returns and credits. Maintain DOT documentation, complete daily truck and end-of-day reports, and share issues or opportunities with local management. Work Monday through Friday, 40–45 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

•Quote prices and credit terms; prepare sales invoices for obtained orders.
•Deliver products, stock retail cases, and rotate inventory as required.
•Prepare end-of-day reports and notify local management of unresolved issues or opportunities.
•Maintain daily DOT documentation and provide it to local management as required.
•Drive to assigned locations and use equipment (e.g., carts, pallets) to unload, rotate products, and process returns and credits.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma/GED is required.
•Minimum of 6 months experience in route sales, grocery, warehousing, or delivery is required.
•A valid Driver's License is required; a CDL-B Driver’s License will be required within 90 days of the start date.
•Individuals must be 21 years of age to meet federal regulations.
•Ability to interpret instructions and write routine reports and correspondence.
