Job Summary

Lead initial and ongoing training for new ready-mix drivers, including documenting CDL training and providing safety coaching. Assist with job-site access, coordination, and daily deliveries while operating a Class A vehicle safely in the plant yard and on public highways. Perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain equipment, review driver safety scores and video events, and conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to support FMCSA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Train new ready-mix drivers on essential duties and responsibilities, maintaining documented training records.
•Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition; perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
•Drive to job sites for unloading and clean the truck after delivery to prevent material buildup.
•Review driver safety scores and video events, providing documented coaching; keep current with FMCSA regulations.
•Host scheduled safety meetings and toolbox talks; monitor route efficiencies and truck counts.
