Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive end-to-end development of platform hardware and translate platform-level requirements into circuit and component-level specifications.
  • •Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts/components and integrated circuitry for hardware platforms.
  • •Create and manage PCB design from feasibility through component definition, schematic capture, placement, routing rules, and tapeout.
  • •Consider BOM cost and availability data and use it to inform design trade-offs at board and system levels.
  • •Plan and lead platform hardware power-on and debug activities, resolving bring-up issues and incorporating cross-functional feedback.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related) with 7+ years of hands-on experience, or Master’s with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years.
  • •Experience in PCB design and layout processes, including component specification, routing rules, and board tapeout.
  • •Hands-on hardware debugging and electrical interface design, including mixed-signal/analog fundamentals.
  • •Ability to analyze platform-level design trade-offs and optimize system compatibility.
  • •Experience with CMOS technologies, digital and analog board design, and power-on fundamentals.
