Key Responsibilities

  • •Acquire new clients in the Financial Institutions space across continental Europe and generate net inflows into the HSBC liquidity funds portfolio.
  • •Grow and manage an existing customer portfolio within the FI segment, identifying and executing new business opportunities.
  • •Act as the primary point of contact for existing FI clients, coordinating daily collaboration and ensuring high service standards.
  • •Collaborate with institutional coverage, product specialists, portfolio managers, and Legal/Compliance to structure liquidity solutions per mandates and regulatory requirements.
  • •Represent HSBC at industry conferences and customer events, maintain market/regulatory understanding, and produce sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM updates.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 years of experience in Institutional Liquidity Sales or a comparable role, ideally with money market funds, liquidity solutions, cash management, or fixed-income products.
  • •Established network at financial institutions in Germany and/or continental Europe.
  • •Strong understanding of cash and liquidity management and regulatory frameworks (e.g., MMF Regulation, Basel III/LCR impacts) for institutional investors.
  • •Relevant licenses/registrations under German/EU regulations (e.g., MiFID II Suitability).
  • •Fluent German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
