Job Summary

Ensure electrical functioning of plant equipment, tools, and machinery by troubleshooting malfunctions, performing repairs and maintenance, and installing or replacing electrical components. Read blueprints and wiring diagrams, calibrate electrical/electronic equipment to specifications, and maintain programmable logic controller (PLC) based equipment. Work with production equipment to support safe, reliable operation across the plant, including testing newly installed systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines.
•Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery; determine repairs and coordinate approvals for repair as needed.
•Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards.
•Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
•Maintain and repair electrical equipment in production areas, including installing power supply wiring and conduit and calibrating equipment to manufacturer specifications.

Key Requirements

•Knowledge of safety requirements related to electrical operations and components.

•Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
