Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently conduct site inspections in selected discipline and verify tested results are correct
  • •Review design information, tolerances, and agreed methods of working
  • •Assess whether test procedures and recorded results demonstrate compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice
  • •Produce and manage commissioning documentation, including site observation reports, and track task completion and project milestones
  • •Liaise with contractors and participate in meetings/workshops while maintaining a daily diary of site events, documents reviewed, and authority decisions

Key Requirements

  • •MEP / building services engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (BSc)
  • •MEP / building services engineering college diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent)
  • •MEP / building services engineering college certificate (ONC, OND, or equivalent) or trade time served plus City & Guilds certificate
  • •Minimum 5+ years job-related experience with an engineering degree (or 6+ with a diploma, or 7+ with a college/trade certificate)
  • •Industry accreditation experience such as Incorporated Engineer, CSA Grade 4 (desirable) and commissioning certification such as BCA, ACG or NEBB (desirable)
