Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and coordinate construction supervisors, engineers, and contractors within assigned OSBL areas; complete daily supervisory surveillance checks and records
  • •Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with permit procedures, protective equipment requirements, and qualified supervision and manpower
  • •Validate discipline scope of work against contract requisitions and ensure contractors scaffold materials are approved and properly used by experienced/qualified scaffolders
  • •Approve false works prior to erection and control scaffold structures and false work using a Scaftag-type system; ensure only qualified personnel modify scaffold boards and structures
  • •Provide proactive support to the project team and drive technical excellence and assurance on the commissioning portion in partnership with other disciplines and the client

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical construction environment
  • •Vocation, diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in a mechanical or related field
  • •Experience supervising scaffolding contractors to achieve effective construction execution
  • •Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • •Ability to enforce safe working conditions, permit procedures, and protective equipment requirements
