Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee pipeline crossings by third parties and coordinate excavation activities with company crews and outside contractors.
  • •Conduct investigations of natural gas facility damages and follow through to resolution.
  • •Review and reconcile invoices related to damage prevention activities.
  • •Maintain accurate company maps and records and complete required records and reports to meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • •Identify, address, and report safety and encroachment issues; ensure safe operation and inspection of assigned vehicles and equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and five years of experience in natural gas construction, damage prevention, or related work.
  • •Requires in-depth knowledge of company operations and the ability to communicate, persuade, and influence internal/external customers on technical and complex matters.
  • •Must obtain and maintain minimum Operator Qualifications (OQs) and required classroom training/certifications within six months.
  • •Valid driver’s license in accordance with company standards.
  • •As a safety-sensitive position, complete required pre/post-employment screenings (including DOT/PHMSA drug testing) and MVR background checks.
