Key Responsibilities

  • •Fly as First Officer on flights for QantasLink, supporting safe and efficient operations across assigned routes
  • •Maintain high professional standards while adhering to CASA and company safety procedures and medical requirements
  • •Collaborate with pilots, cabin crew and ground staff to ensure smooth, on-time operations across multiple bases
  • •Complete mandatory pre-flight and post-flight checks, and participate in ongoing training, checkouts and progression programmes
  • •Uphold regulatory and company policies, including security and aviation safety, while representing QantasLink positively at all ports of call

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 500 hours total flight time in an aeroplane (preference for 50 hours in the previous 12 months)
  • •ATPL (A) or CPL (A) with passes in all Australian ATPL Theory subjects
  • •Endorsements for Instrument Approach 2D and 3D on Australian Instrument Rating - Multi Engine Aeroplane
  • •Level 6 English Language Proficiency on your Licence
  • •Current CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
