Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver CYB non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to eligible children and youth, including assessment, brief counseling, action planning, referrals, and follow-up.
  • •Provide parent training/guidance and training/health and wellness presentations, including participation in health fairs and base activities.
  • •Maintain confidentiality-compliant documentation by entering counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application.
  • •Collaborate with installation and school/community POCs and DoDEA personnel to ensure program delivery within scope and meets local needs.
  • •Manage duty-to-warn and restricted reporting situations per DoD protocol, participate in supervision, respond to critical incidents/special requests, and complete assigned training/quality initiatives.

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in a mental health related field (Behavioral Health or Social Work).
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license to provide counseling as an independent practitioner.
  • •Less than 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • •Intermediate competency with technology (e.g., Microsoft Suite, internet navigation, smartphone/tablet, and video-conferencing platform navigation).
  • •US citizenship and fluency in English; pass required background checks (including NACI clearance, IRC, criminal background check, and FBI fingerprints).
