Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of Wise’s North America regulatory monitoring oversight framework aligned with global methodology and regulatory priorities.
  • •Define standards for effective 1LOD-owned monitoring, including coverage expectations, data requirements, thresholds, escalation triggers, documentation, evidence retention, and handoff.
  • •Partner with Analytics and 1LOD teams to design recurring monitoring workflows, dashboards, alerts, exception reports, AI-assisted reviews, and analytics routines.
  • •Oversee monitoring coverage across key North America regulatory obligations, including Regulation E, UDAAP, E-SIGN, BSA/AML/FinCrime, and state Money Transmission/MSB requirements.
  • •Review monitoring outputs, ensure exceptions are investigated and remediated through governance channels, and produce reporting for leadership, committees, and examination readiness.

Salary: USD 134,000 - 198,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in compliance monitoring, compliance risk management, control oversight, audit analytics, operational risk, regulatory compliance, financial crimes monitoring, or related roles.
  • •Strong understanding of US consumer protection and financial services regulations, including Reg E, UDAAP, E-Sign, BSA/AML/FinCrime, and state Money Transmission/MSB requirements.
  • •Proven ability to build or enhance monitoring programs, oversight frameworks, KRI routines, dashboards, and exception management processes.
  • •Strong analytics fluency to frame monitoring questions, interpret data, challenge data quality, partner with analytics teams, and apply regulatory judgment.
  • •Comfort with AI, automation, or workflow tooling, including governance, documentation, QA, and human review.
