Job Summary

Lead North America regulatory compliance monitoring oversight within the 2LOD Compliance team. Build a scalable, data-led, AI-enabled monitoring framework that sets standards for 1LOD-owned monitoring, translates regulatory obligations into recurring indicators and workflows, and ensures exceptions are escalated and remediated. Partner with Analytics, Product Compliance, Risk, Operations, and 1LOD teams to design dashboards, alerts, exception reports, and oversight routines, reporting to leadership and board materials.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead development of Wise’s North America regulatory monitoring oversight framework aligned with global methodology and regulatory priorities.
•Define standards for effective 1LOD-owned monitoring, including coverage expectations, data requirements, thresholds, escalation triggers, documentation, evidence retention, and handoff.
•Partner with Analytics and 1LOD teams to design recurring monitoring workflows, dashboards, alerts, exception reports, AI-assisted reviews, and analytics routines.
•Oversee monitoring coverage across key North America regulatory obligations, including Regulation E, UDAAP, E-SIGN, BSA/AML/FinCrime, and state Money Transmission/MSB requirements.
•Review monitoring outputs, ensure exceptions are investigated and remediated through governance channels, and produce reporting for leadership, committees, and examination readiness.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 134,000 - 198,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in compliance monitoring, compliance risk management, control oversight, audit analytics, operational risk, regulatory compliance, financial crimes monitoring, or related roles.
•Strong understanding of US consumer protection and financial services regulations, including Reg E, UDAAP, E-Sign, BSA/AML/FinCrime, and state Money Transmission/MSB requirements.
•Proven ability to build or enhance monitoring programs, oversight frameworks, KRI routines, dashboards, and exception management processes.
•Strong analytics fluency to frame monitoring questions, interpret data, challenge data quality, partner with analytics teams, and apply regulatory judgment.
•Comfort with AI, automation, or workflow tooling, including governance, documentation, QA, and human review.
