Job Summary

Own the underwriting and ongoing credit performance for asset-based lending portfolios spanning consumer receivable finance and commercial equipment finance. Lead credit approvals from opportunity through close with minimal oversight, overseeing analysts and associates while conducting risk ratings, relationship reviews, covenant compliance, and reporting/analytics. Partner with relationship managers and internal teams, manage direct client interactions, identify portfolio risks, exceptions, and cross-sell opportunities using Salesforce and customer service best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee credit responsibilities for analysts and associates, including financial statement spreading and validation of underwriting models.
•Own underwriting and credit approvals across new customers, modifications, renewals, increases, and risk assessments.
•Conduct risk rating assessments, periodic relationship reviews, portfolio reviews, and covenant compliance/covenant management.
•Manage portfolio reporting and analytics (grade migration, past dues, exceptions, coming-due maturities) and oversee post-approval modifications for accurate credit exposure reporting.
•Partner with relationship managers and support client and SalesForce management, identifying cross-sell opportunities and leading initiatives to improve credit delivery.

•Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
•Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Proven leadership skills and ability to build relationships in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
