Key Responsibilities

  • •Own EHS compliance for the Gilroy and San Martin sites.
  • •Coach, train, and support operations in executing Daily Fundamentals, including coordinating and facilitating training seminars.
  • •Assist in incident management (near misses, hazards, and accidents), including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • •Conduct weekly/monthly/annual inspections at each plant and document completion in Riskonnect; lead weekly coaching on Lockout/Tagout and procedural audits.
  • •Educate staff via weekly safety trainings in English/Spanish, coordinate monthly Safety Committee meetings, and help identify safety zones and develop procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, plus equivalent training/experience/education.
  • •Minimum 2+ years of experience in manufacturing.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA 10, California State and EPA regulations.
  • •Ability to read and interpret plant safety procedures and technical manuals, and communicate clearly (verbal, written, in-person, and by phone).
  • •Valid CA Driver’s License; OSHA 30 and HAZWOPER certified.
