  • •Lead the development and assurance of ground models, geotechnical assessments, design solutions, and technical deliverables as a senior technical authority.
  • •Direct and review advanced geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, retaining structures, earthworks, slopes, tunnels, and other geotechnical assets.
  • •Own project and portfolio performance, including programme, budget, resource planning, quality management, risk, and contractual requirements.
  • •Lead bids and proposals, build trusted client relationships, and provide line management, coaching, and technical mentorship to engineers and engineering geologists.

Key Requirements

  • •Substantial background in geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, and ground risk management, including leading delivery of complex projects.
  • •Strong expertise in geotechnical interpretation, analysis, and design, with the ability to review, challenge, and approve high-quality technical outputs.
  • •Proven track record leading projects and multidisciplinary teams while managing scope, programme, resources, commercial performance, quality, and risk.
  • •Strong commercial awareness, including preparing proposals and managing project finances and new-business development.
  • •Chartered status with a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE or Geological Society) or an equivalent recognised professional qualification.
