Key Responsibilities

  • •Design pipelines systems across the lifecycle including planning, FEED, route selection, permitting, detail design, procurement, construction, and deactivation/demolition
  • •Provide engineering support to pipeline routing studies, stress analysis, and mechanical detailed engineering design of liquid, gas and/or slurry pipelines
  • •Participate in field/site walks and coordinate field investigations for surveys, utility investigations, environmental delineations, geotechnical/hydrologic studies
  • •Coordinate engineering and survey services for right-of-way acquisition needs on pipeline projects
  • •Prepare project funding documents, proposals, technical reports, cost estimates, and drawings; manage project delivery per company procedures and quality plans
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • •Minimum of 5-7 years pipeline design experience (consulting or operating company)
  • •Engineer in Training (EIT) required; Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
  • •Knowledge of liquids and gas design codes and regulations (49 CFR Part 192/195, ASME B31.4, B31.8, AWWA M11)
  • •Familiar with pipeline engineering software (Pipeline Toolbox, AutoPIPE/CAESAR II, PipeFLO, AFT Impulse)
