Job Summary

Lead mechanical design and integration for Shipboard Effectors, guiding a multi-disciplined engineering team through hardware production, test, and delivery of missile sub-sections. Drive technical strategy across IPTs, ensure adherence to cost/schedule/technical requirements, and implement continuous improvement through FRACAS and obsolescence resolution. Collaborate with program managers, suppliers, and QA to deliver robust, flight-ready hardware.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish and manage product vision, strategy, and goals to align with multiple contracts and facilitate production line conflict resolution with respect to schedule and capacity
•Lead a team of multi-disciplined engineers in support of hardware production, test, and delivery of missile sub-sections and/or All Up Round
•Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across the IPTs and other functions to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements
•Drive positive change within the production environment as a key stakeholder in Failure Review Boards, FRACAS activities, obsolescence resolution, and other continuous improvement efforts
•Prepare technical justification analysis reports and present to Engineering Review Boards as required

Key Requirements

•Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
•Experience with Project Management as technical leader of large teams of engineers
•Extensive experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI Y14.5
•Travel to suppliers and other Raytheon facilities as needed
•The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
