Build applied machine learning solutions to improve acquisition, retention, and expansion of large, licensed professionals on the platform. Design and analyze marketplace experiments, work with cross-functional teams to ship production ML systems, and balance execution speed with scientific rigor.

Key Responsibilities

•Initiate and drive applied science initiatives to completion focused on acquisition, retention, and expansion of large professionals.
•Develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning models for supply shaping, including lead scoring, churn prediction, preference optimization, and marketplace matching/ranking features.
•Design and execute marketplace experiments to evaluate models, features, and strategies against supply and business metrics.
•Analyze marketplace interactions, pro profiles, financial and external data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks for supply health.
•Collaborate with engineering, product management, business development, and marketing to define problems, deliver end-to-end solutions, and monitor ML systems in production.

Key Requirements

•Expert knowledge of machine learning techniques including classification, anomaly detection, and natural language processing (NLP).
•Ability to effectively read, write, and debug code in programming languages such as Python.
•Strong probability and statistics knowledge including experimental design, optimization, and causal inference.
•Ability to break down complex problems rigorously and understand tradeoffs to deliver impactful projects.
•Clear communication and ability to lead seamless execution with cross-functional partners.
