Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish, implement, and maintain corporate emergency response expectations, standards, and guidance for site and regional preparedness.
  • •Develop and evaluate emergency response training, drills, and exercises, and apply lessons learned to improve readiness.
  • •Manage the corporate crisis management framework, including escalation protocols and response roles, and coordinate Crisis Management Team activation during incidents.
  • •Develop and maintain crisis management plans and scenario guidance for natural hazards, operational disruptions, major process safety incidents, and enterprise-level crisis scenarios (including cyber-related impacts).
  • •Provide incident support and guidance across regional and site teams, coordinating with EHS, operations, Legal, IT, Security, Communications, and executives during events; lead post-incident improvement reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (or 15+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree).
  • •10+ years of experience in emergency response, crisis management, operational risk, process safety, EHS, or related disciplines in petrochemical/chemical/industrial high-hazard environments.
  • •Experience supporting or leading significant incident response, emergency preparedness, crisis exercises, or cross-functional response coordination.
  • •Experience managing cross-functional projects, preparedness initiatives, corrective actions, or emergency response improvement plans.
  • •Experience working with site, regional, and corporate stakeholders in a global/multi-site environment.
