Job Summary

Build and nurture Percona’s global open source community by managing social content, engaging members on the Percona Forum and Community Slack, and coordinating internal community programs. Support community growth through event representation, regional event assistance, and light website maintenance (content updates, bug fixes, small features). You’ll also create video/short-form content using AI-assisted tools and use tools like Buffer or Sprout Social to schedule and listen.

Key Responsibilities

•Create and manage social content to authentically engage the developer and DBA community, including short-form/video content.
•Own day-to-day engagement on the Percona Forum and Community Slack (welcoming members, answering/routing questions, and keeping discussions healthy).
•Monitor community health and sentiment across channels, flagging issues and celebrating wins.
•Represent Percona at conferences/meetups/partner events, staffing booths and providing on-site troubleshooting and regional event support.
•Help run internal community programs, track program metrics, and perform light-to-moderate website maintenance (content updates, bug fixes, small feature work).
