Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist other technicians and/or mechanics in repairing and maintaining equipment and diagnosing mechanical/electrical problems.
  • •Independently (or with minimal guidance) perform audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for automated material handling system components.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs according to safety and quality procedures.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair key Fulfillment Center components, including participation in cleaning conveyor systems and the maintenance area.
  • •Complete work orders and written/computer-based documentation according to established procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of related experience in mechanical troubleshooting, technical troubleshooting, maintenance and/or installation.
  • •Experience with 3-phase systems up to 480VAC, including repair, installation, and maintenance.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and repair automated material handling equipment such as conveyors and/or sortation.
  • •Strong electrical background, including low voltage controls and PLC knowledge.
  • •Knowledge of safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out, and ability to work at heights of 40ft or more.
