Job Summary

Plan and execute production according to Supply Chain requirements, balancing efficiency and cost while ensuring full EHS and QMS compliance. Oversee shop-floor activities using knowledge of powder and liquid formulation processes and key equipment, manage inventory and goods accounting in ERP/AX9, maintain minimum stock levels, and support safe, ISO 9001/14001-aligned operations. Implement 5S and Lean practices to improve batch cycle time and coach employees and contractors to meet production targets safely.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute production activities per Supply Chain requirements, meeting quality specifications efficiently and cost-effectively.
•Execute small and medium-sized projects in a time-bound and safe manner on the shop floor.
•Ensure accurate accounting of semi-finished, intermediate, and finished goods and correct handling of RM/PM/IM and finished goods to avoid pilferage and wastage in ERP/AX9.
•Follow and enforce safe working policies, EHS norms, and ISO 9001 & 14001 systems and procedures.
•Implement 5S in the production area, use Lean practices to improve batch cycle time, and coach employees and contractors to achieve safe production targets.

Key Requirements

•BE or BTech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (additional material planning and Safety degree/diploma is an added advantage).
•Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in specialty chemicals, Paint, or Construction Chemicals.
•Strong understanding of production processes for powder and liquid formulation, including mixers, dissolvers, packing machines, chillers, and compressors.
•Ability to plan and execute production activities to meet quality specifications and manpower requirements.
•Knowledge of ERP/AX9 accounting and inventory control practices, with commitment to HSE and ISO 9001 & 14001 standards.
