Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct vessel inspections including on-hire, return to service, safety inspections, drill audits, and comprehensive environmental health assessments.
  • •Perform navigation audits, offshore assessments, and industry best practice inspections such as OVID.
  • •Conduct incident investigations and complete recommendation close-outs.
  • •Maintain and review the Department’s safety management systems.
  • •Maintain and review the Offshore Manual, and support compliance with company instructions and findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a STCW II/2 Master Mariner Unlimited License from a recognized marine academy or nautical college.
  • •Minimum 8 years’ experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, with at least 2 years working as a Captain.
  • •Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • •Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • •Fluent oral and written English communication.
