Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products for associates and customers.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components across training, LLM inference, agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies (e.g., AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, PyTorch).
  • •Invent and apply foundation model optimization techniques to improve scalability, cost, latency, and throughput of production AI systems.
  • •Lead cost-performance governance reviews and technical design councils/boards to ensure compliance and consistency; mentor senior AI engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,800 - 286,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields plus 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies; or a Master’s plus 4+ years.
  • •6+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Experience deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or equivalent).
  • •Experience developing AI/ML systems such as LLM inference, similarity search and VectorDBs, guardrails, or memory using Python, C++, C#, Java, CUDA, or Golang.
  • •Experience building agentic AI systems and agentic workflows, balancing performance tradeoffs across cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
