Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a technical and/or project lead for technology realization programs/projects using Eaton gate/design/technical review processes.
  • •Own execution of critical project milestones and coordinate engineering resources to complete milestone deliverables on time.
  • •Create, execute, and track end-to-end project milestones, assigning roles and responsibilities for the project team.
  • •Support technology strategy and value proposition development, including brainstorming and contributing to technical program/presentation materials.
  • •Develop customer relationships and external partnerships, support government proposal preparation and/or work package ownership, and contribute to IP generation; mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •At least 0-2 years of industrial or entrepreneurial experience.
  • •Experience designing low and medium voltage high-frequency transformers and inductors for power conversion applications, including specifications and prototype validation.
  • •Experience modeling power converters and power systems using simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, Simplorer, PSIM, and/or PSCAD.
  • •Experience with power electronics packaging, including parasitics, insulation/interconnection techniques, cooling techniques, and real-time simulators such as DSPACE, OPAL-RT, and/or RTDS.
