Job Summary

Originate and oversee residential mortgage loan production for Financial Center offices and outside referrals, from application through closing. Lead and manage a team of Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs), driving personal and team performance against sales and cross-selling objectives using reporting, KPIs, and business plan reviews. Build referral and partner relationships, ensure compliance with state and federal lending regulations, and improve customer experience through continuous performance coaching.

Key Responsibilities

•Originate residential mortgage loans for Financial Center offices and outside referrals, owning the process from application to closing.
•Manage a team of at least 5 MLOs, including day-to-day management, performance feedback, coaching, and talent development.
•Drive personal and team loan production using local and Bancorp reporting and KPIs, including holding business plan reviews.
•Build referral relationships with realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts and develop a sales-focused team culture.
•Monitor compliance and risk, ensure adherence to state/federal lending regulations and bank policies, and support issue resolution with processing and underwriting managers.

Key Requirements

•Manage residential mortgage sales performance and meet personal and team sales/cross-selling objectives.
•2-4 years of residential mortgage sales experience.
•In-depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio loan guidelines.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Must be able to obtain/maintain S.A.F.E. Act registration through NMLS at time of employment.
