Job Summary

Provide effective instruction in general faculty subjects and assigned Industrial Engineering areas to second-language learners in a student-centered environment. Teach courses aligned with syllabi and program goals, deliver continuous assessment feedback, and support student success through advising and mentoring. Contribute to academic strategy, policies, extracurricular activities, and applied research aligned with institutional priorities. Manage course assessment documentation, course/curriculum revisions, and assigned invigilation, while serving on committees and supporting student groups.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to implementation of the system-wide strategy and assist with development/preservation of system-wide and Faculty/Division-specific policies.
•Teach courses aligned to the course syllabus and program goals, using educational technology resources and supporting second-language learning with continuous feedback.
•Monitor student progress, evaluate students, update grades timely, and contribute to question banks and course assessments.
•Serve as a student advisor, provide at-risk recommendations, mentor students during internships/work placements, and maintain regular office hours.
•Conduct applied research aligned with the faculty’s interests and the national innovation agenda, participate in conferences, and serve on committees and as an adviser/sponsor for student groups and activities.

Key Requirements

•A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
•Or a Master's Degree and a professional certification relevant to the discipline, with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
•Or a Bachelor's Degree may be considered for candidates with extensive industry experience and industry certification per the discipline requirement.
•A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
•Experience developing course curriculum per accreditation and international standards, including incorporating educational technology into instruction.
