Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and lead weekly Mommy & Me classes for four mornings per week, coordinating lessons, supplies, and classroom plans.
  • •Conduct age-appropriate activities supporting language development, motor skills, social-emotional growth, cognitive development, and early literacy.
  • •Provide parent education and family support on child development, early learning practices, nutrition, attachment, health and safety, at-home learning, and school readiness.
  • •Maintain daily records of attendance and services, update files as required, and assist with grant compliance.
  • •Coordinate church partner volunteers, set up and tear down classroom settings daily, and communicate with parents about participation and available resources.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Social Work, Education, Human Services, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • •Experience facilitating parent education or family literacy programs.
  • •Knowledge of trauma-informed care and refugee resettlement issues.
  • •Experience working with refugee, immigrant, or multilingual populations.
  • •Experience working with children ages birth to three and their caregivers, including curriculum implementation and daily lesson plan writing.
