Key Responsibilities

  • •Modify/adapt the K–12 curriculum aligned to state content standards to meet each student’s unique needs.
  • •Write and maintain compliant IEPs, including coordinating and facilitating IEP meetings.
  • •Collaborate with general education teachers and related services to develop and monitor student IEP goals.
  • •Educate parents on instructional strategies and prepare appropriate documentation.
  • •Proctor required testing and alternative assessments as needed; maintain ongoing assessment support.

Key Requirements

  • •State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License.
  • •Bachelor's degree, plus an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • •Ability to travel as needed and be willing to obtain Ohio certification as required.
