Key Responsibilities

•Lead and grow a team of software engineers building production agents, including setting direction, reviewing designs, mentoring, and unblocking.
•Define team engineering standards for agent patterns, tool integration, testing, code quality, observability, and review practices.
•Architect the agent platform, including shared services and protocols for reliable agent-to-agent messaging and tool servers.
•Stay hands-on by writing code, prototyping hard problems, and pairing with engineers on the toughest parts of the system.
•Own agent behavior quality and safety by designing verification for accuracy, cost-efficiency, and guardrails over time.

Key Requirements

•8–12+ years of software engineering experience with deep proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
•A track record of technically driving teams of engineers through mentoring, setting standards, and shipping complex systems.
•Experience building agentic or multi-step automated systems, including tool orchestration and LLM reasoning loops or agent frameworks.
•Ability to set architectural direction and reusable patterns that other engineers adopt.
•Experience designing for non-deterministic behavior, edge cases, and failure, including testing and observability to catch issues.
