Job Summary

Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul mechanical equipment in a Campbell Soup tomato processing facility. Work with steam systems, steam turbines, evaporator processes, and gas-fired boilers, plus pumps, motors, and gearboxes. Troubleshoot to the component level using manuals, schematics, and test equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support production goals while meeting safety and quality compliance requirements. Overtime may be seasonal.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul plant mechanical equipment to support production and compliance requirements.
•Troubleshoot equipment to the component level, consult manuals/data, identify replacement parts, and requisition parts through the logistics system.
•Observe equipment during operation to detect problems by sight or sound and recognize failure symptoms (e.g., bearings, V-belt, gears, couplings).
•Perform preventative maintenance activities in the assigned area using a team approach to problem solving.
•Operate and care for mechanical hand and shop tools, and maintain safe use of measurement and alignment equipment.

Key Requirements

•Advanced experience with steam systems, steam turbines, evaporator processes, and gas-fired boilers.
•Mechanical experience working with pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
•Ability to maintain and repair industrial mechanical equipment (e.g., shafts, gears, bearings, lubrication systems).
•Experience troubleshooting to the component level using manufacturers’ manuals, schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools.
•Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and steam systems, including lockout requirements.
