Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve electrical and control systems for plant operations.
  • •Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment and system breakdowns or inefficiencies, including analog, digital, and computerized control logic systems.
  • •Apply engineering knowledge to support casting, slitting, and coating processes and provide design modifications to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • •Develop and improve preventive maintenance and equipment reliability strategies.
  • •Coordinate outage and construction project activity with production and maintenance departments, and assist with capital maintenance and investment projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •Minimum 3 years of engineering experience preferred.
  • •Solid understanding of ladder logic and HMI software, with experience using AutoCAD 2013 or later.
  • •Extensive familiarity programming machine control systems including PLCs, motor control systems, man-machine interfaces, and low/medium voltage power supply requirements.
  • •Working knowledge of DC drives and safety codes.
