Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support to pre-contract and project delivery teams on cross-country/in-plant power, desalination, and sewage treatment plant piping and associated equipment.
  • •Perform detail design of cross-country piping and prepare basic and detail piping technical specifications, datasheets, and pipe layout drawings.
  • •Create and draft PFDs, BFDs, PIDs; support equipment and piping 3D model development.
  • •Develop detail design drawings using vendor 2D and 3D drawings and produce overall piping plans, general layouts, isometrics, plot plans, and site topographical survey drawings.
  • •Review piping design and sizing calculations/drawings and evaluate contractor method statements/test procedures for piping-related site activities.

Key Requirements

  • •8-12 years of experience with BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Strong piping design skills for power and water projects, including detail specifications and layout drawings.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD Plant3D and related pipe modelling/analysis software packages.
  • •Ability to create and draft PFDs, BFDs, PIDs and contribute to equipment and piping 3D model development.
  • •Experience reviewing piping design and sizing calculations, drawings, and contractor method statements/test procedures.
