Job Summary

Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from first contact through closing, converting company-provided opportunities into funded deals. You’ll build strong borrower relationships and, when applicable, partner with Zillow Preferred Agents and local professionals. Manage an active pipeline against service levels and KPI-driven productivity targets while using Zillow CRM, loan origination systems (LOS), and data-driven tools. Partner with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

•Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing while ensuring compliance with requirements.
•Convert company-provided purchase opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
•Build strong relationships with customers and, where applicable, Zillow Preferred Agents and local partners.
•Manage an active pipeline and meet service levels, productivity metrics, and funding expectations.
•Use Zillow’s CRM and LOS and collaborate with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of mortgage origination experience focused on purchase transactions as an active NMLS Loan Originator (state licenses) or under a federal bank license.
•Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.
•Located within 75 miles of the Charlotte, NC branch.
•Proven success originating purchase loans in either a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral model.
•Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel), with strong communication and consultative sales skills.
