Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, electrical/brake/cooling, steering, engine, transmission, and related systems using test instruments.
  • •Road test vehicles to verify repairs and identify malfunctions.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory/equipment and maintain the company-issued service vehicle, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Complete DOT forms and repair-order documentation, upload photos and findings using the company’s iOS device and TRAIT application, and communicate with management/customer as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination with degree/certification or 5 years related experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Supply and use a set of required hand tools.
  • •Possess a current and valid DOT medical card (or complete a DOT physical based on remaining validity).
  • •Must be at least 21 years or older and hold a valid driver’s license; successfully complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
