Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and execute risk-based internal audits at Wise, supporting teams to deliver the audit plan.
  • •Provide assurance on high-risk financial and treasury processes and financial regulatory obligations.
  • •Plan, execute, and report internal audits in line with Wise’s internal audit methodology.
  • •Develop continuous monitoring routines for high-volume financial data and support automated audit routines.
  • •Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and measure the effectiveness of improvements.

Salary: GBP 61,000 - 79,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant experience in assurance, risk, or control roles, ideally within fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • •Clear working knowledge of financial risk areas such as Liquidity, FX, and Interest Rate, or Prudential regulations such as IFPR and PRA.
  • •Experience deploying technology-enabled assurance and using data analytics to drive audit decisions and testing.
  • •Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CFA, or CIA.
  • •Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as MIFIDPRU or SOX (advantageous).
