Job Summary

Join Samsung Austin Semiconductor as a Photo Equipment Technician, supporting photolithography manufacturing with setup/calibration, preventative maintenance, and failure analysis. You’ll work with engineers and manufacturing teams to collect operating data, perform in-line and mechanical repairs, document procedures, and drive safety and quality improvements on-site at SAS.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safety- and quality-centered mindset while using basic hand tools in photolithography processes.
•Troubleshoot by performing data analysis and hardware failure analysis/repair in a high-pressure environment.
•Use onboard diagnostics to understand and correct equipment issues; thoroughly document all repairs and maintenance.
•Monitor equipment and processes and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.6 - 60.4 hourly

Key Requirements

•Associates degree or other technical certification
•2+ years equivalent relevant technical and/or Military service
•Prior experience with mechanical or computer-based troubleshooting
•Familiarity with 6S best practices.
