Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the engineering design and documentation for infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, cycleways, drainage, water infrastructure, renewable energy)
  • •Help other drafters/designers develop engineered sketches/drawings using Autodesk and Bentley packages
  • •Undertake field site visits to aid design deliverables
  • •Be part of multidisciplinary teams delivering project outcomes
  • •Study externally for an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (4 year part time) paid for upon successful completion
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Completed or currently completing Year 12 and enrolled into an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering through the University of Southern Queensland (or similar)
  • •Keen to start a career in civil design and learn from professional and technical teams
  • •Aptitude to apply studies to real-life work in civil design/drafting
  • •Experience with drafting/engineering design using Autodesk and Bentley software
  • •Willingness to undertake field site visits to aid design deliverables
