Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide nutrition-related aspects of care for patients receiving eating disorder treatment, working with families to restore healthy eating patterns.
  • •Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including initial nutrition assessment, meal plan prescription, and target weight range assessment.
  • •Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods and support nutrition education for families to address irrational beliefs related to food, weight, and shape.
  • •Communicate meal plans and nutrition-related concerns clearly to the interdisciplinary treatment team and provide education as needed.
  • •Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record and update treatment plans weekly based on patient progress and goals.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have an active license in Illinois.
  • •Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, plus nutrition and dietetics coursework accredited/approved by ACEND (or equivalent).
  • •Licensed RDN required; eating disorder experience preferred.
  • •Manage a caseload of up to 80 patients and provide care for up to 52 weeks per patient.
  • •Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams; organized and results-driven.
