Key Responsibilities

  • •Exercise safe driving practices to transport live poultry and/or poultry feed in a safe and secure manner.
  • •Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations, company policies, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • •Perform and document pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
  • •Ensure secure loads before movement and assist with loading and unloading trailer as necessary.
  • •Maintain proper documentation, clean and wash the truck as needed, and report maintenance issues to a supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 21 years of age.
  • •Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
  • •Knowledge of Department of Transportation, State and Federal laws.
  • •Ability to read and write legibly.
  • •Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
