Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely and promote the site’s safety culture by using required PPE and collaborating with a safety buddy.
  • •Safely remove materials (e.g., Freon and automotive fluids/components) following prescribed environmental and removal procedures.
  • •Position vehicles on wheel stands for customer access, then remove vehicles and restore the surrounding area for the next set.
  • •Dismantle engines and transmissions, harvest and sort core/commodity materials, and operate equipment such as a tire machine.
  • •Assist customers as needed, prepare shipment materials (Gaylord boxes/pallets), complete regulatory/tracking logs, and maintain stormwater control devices and mechanical equipment.
