Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document exterior and interior condition according to Manheim inspection standards.
  • •Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
  • •Verify vehicle identifiers (VINs, mileage, options) and ensure accurate system entry.
  • •Engage dealer clients to build trust, educate on Manheim Marketplace/mobile inspections, and increase inspection participation.
  • •Prepare and submit daily activity/production reports using Salesforce.com while following safety procedures and compliance policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required (additional automotive-related experience required for Level 2 and Senior Level).
  • •Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
  • •Strong automotive knowledge (body and mechanical) required for Senior Level; able to meet physical and mental demands within required timeframes.
  • •Ability to independently manage assigned inspection activity (Level 2) or perform advanced/high-complexity inspections (Senior Level).
  • •Previous vehicle inspection experience required for Senior Level.
