Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead solution design for domestic real-time and ACH payments and digital merchant acquiring.
  • •Deliver design artefacts such as component integration design, migration, and propose new design patterns.
  • •Provide design governance with strong oversight over proposed designs, challenging where appropriate.
  • •Redesign existing applications with minimal code changes to improve resilience and availability.
  • •Drive scalable, reliable, secure microservices designs by applying architecture controls and presenting architecture options to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of IT experience, preferably with 3+ years as a solution designer.
  • •Strong domain knowledge in transactional areas such as payments, insurances, and cards, plus technical know-how in cloud- and microservices-based solutions.
  • •Experience with API security in production-class systems for customer-facing and internal APIs.
  • •Knowledge of building resilient, scalable, secure architectures for performant microservices, including service design and orchestration.
  • •Technical expertise across integration protocols (SFTP, Connect Direct, TCP sockets, HTTP REST APIs) with mandatory Kafka experience.
