Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and advise on client EHS culture, supporting implementation of EHS procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • •Conduct daily EHS inspections to identify health and safety risks and non-compliance with regulations, policies, and contractor safety plans.
  • •Review contractor hazard analyses and recommend additional controls for high-risk work activities.
  • •Maintain safety postings and support worker awareness of the owner’s code of conduct, ethics, and policies.
  • •Respond to incidents and investigations, review corrective actions, and provide training to contractor staff prior to work (typically weekly).

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA in safety or related field plus 6+ years of construction safety experience (or equivalent).
  • •Safety certification and familiarity with 29 CFR 1926.
  • •Valid Driver’s License and the ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.
  • •Physically able to conduct routine field inspections and lift up to 25 pounds (as needed).
