Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, coach, and develop the IoT engineering team by setting expectations, providing feedback, and aligning growth plans to APTD needs.
  • •Own end-to-end team execution: define goals/KPIs, prioritize the IoT roadmap, assign ownership, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery from concept to deployment.
  • •Drive IIoT solution development across sensing strategy, edge compute, connectivity, data ingestion/storage, and monitoring/sustainment (including data quality and traceability).
  • •Develop machine vision solutions by guiding hardware selection (cameras/optics/lighting), image acquisition strategy, algorithm approach, performance validation, and deployment readiness.
  • •Ensure disciplined engineering practices (requirements, design reviews, coding standards, documentation, change control) with cybersecurity considerations and operational readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •Hands-on experience delivering and deploying IoT/IIoT, sensing/automation, and/or machine vision solutions in an industrial environment.
  • •People leadership experience (direct or matrix), including coaching, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
  • •Proficiency in Python and experience guiding software development practices such as code reviews, testing, CI/CD expectations, and documentation.
  • •Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and clear communication in a cross-cultural environment.
