Key Responsibilities

  • •Own features from inception to release, delivering solutions across all layers of the software stack
  • •Write design documents outlining how problems will be solved and proposed approaches
  • •Modify R2 Storage processes to improve performance and reliability
  • •Fix bugs in user experience rendering and related components
  • •Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team to ship features for the vector database offering

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years experience working with distributed systems or developing on cloud platforms
  • •Experience managing high volume software applications
  • •Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional design
  • •Knowledge of at least one modern strongly-typed programming language such as Go, Rust, or C++
  • •Strong expertise in Machine Learning, including experience with data processing and retrieval algorithms
