Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a mixed EL/PL multi-track caseload from receipt to closure using the firm’s case management system.
  • •Assess and advise on liability and quantum, devising strategies to resolve cases with the best possible outcomes.
  • •Draft pleadings including defences and witness evidence, and prepare supporting materials such as chronologies.
  • •Attend court and hearings (including trials, settlement conferences, and inquests) in person or by telephone.
  • •Act as a technical point of contact for designated casualty public sector clients and support the Lead Lawyer and Technical Lead activities, including client audits and operational reviews.
